This day marks the first real-world Bitcoin transaction, when 

 were used to buy two pizzas back in 2010, a moment that became legendary in the crypto space and symbolized the beginning of Bitcoin’s journey into everyday life.

To celebrate this special occasion, Bybit EU is bringing the community together with local activations, meetups, events, surprises, and exclusive experiences across multiple European regions!

Whether it’s a community meetup, pizza gathering, local activation, or special rewards we invite you to join us and celebrate Bitcoin Pizza Day together with the Bybit EU community. 

For Bitcoin Pizza Day, Bybit EU Germany will partner with a pizza franchise operating 14 locations across Germany and activate at least 3 selected branches on 

Eligible users will be able to claim one free pizza of their choice in-store by becoming a FTD and showing their Bybit User ID / account balance of at least 1€ in participating locations. The activation will be promoted through the franchise’s local Instagram and TikTok channels, supported by Bybit EU creatives, QR codes, landing page, roll-ups, and in-store visibility.

We will support the campaign with co-branded social posts, stories, paid amplification, creator/KOL support, and an aftermovie to capture the activation and reuse it for post-campaign storytelling.

Celebrate Bitcoin Pizza Day in Ibiza with Bybit EU this May through exclusive community events, networking, and social activations.

, join a special pre–Pizza Day meetup with pizza and drinks, followed by Crypto Monday Ibiza at Kumharas featuring a 30-minute speaking slot, branding, curated food and drinks, and over 50 attendees from the crypto and tech community.

Celebrate Bitcoin Pizza Day in Ljubljana with the local crypto community at Nebotičnik on May 22, hosted by Bitcoin Association Slovenia.

The evening will feature panel discussions, networking, community conversations, and a celebration of the story that shaped Bitcoin culture, bringing together crypto enthusiasts, fintech stakeholders, existing users, newcomers, and selected VIP guests. Expected attendance is over 150 participants.

Alongside the live event, a dedicated Instagram giveaway gives Slovenian users the chance to win €1,000 in BTC by answering one simple question:

“What would you buy for 10,000 BTC today?”
